Cade Charlton grew up in southeastern Idaho; there his parents, a reading teacher and a special education administrator, instilled in him the importance of remaining actively involved in education and the community. He currently serves as a program coordinator at the Center for the School of the Future. In this capacity, Cade assists in the management of an AmeriCorps* VISTA operational grant funding community development and school improvement. In addition, he is a school coordinator in a project supported by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention aimed at guiding schools to adopt and improve delinquency prevention strategies. These projects resonate with Cade's personal commitment to seek experience in community development and pursue a lifelong commitment to service.
As an avid Aggie, Cade earned a dual bachelor's degree in Psychology and Economics and recently completed an MBA at the Huntsman School of Business. He served as the volunteer President of the Student Advocates of Behavior Science at Utah State University, Boys and Girls Club volunteer, student representative to the Fremont County school improvement committee, and serves with his wife, Andrea, as a volunteer teacher in the community. Cade and Andrea currently reside in Providence and are expecting a baby girl in June! |
