| Matthew J. Taylor is the Director of Research and Evaluation for both the Center for the School of the Future and the Substitute Teaching Institute, and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Instructional Technology at Utah State University. In addition, he was the co-founder of Spectrum Consulting and a senior research associate with the Early Intervention Research Institute also located at USU.
Dr. Taylor is the primary author of the Indicators of School Quality Survey System. This multi-form, multi-format survey system is used to assess consumer satisfaction for individual schools. His method of reporting data is unique and strives to communicate survey results to a diverse audience; informing cycles of school improvement for participating schools.
Dr. Taylor has published extensively and worked in the field of educational research since 1985. Further, he has been responsible for the statistical analysis of large research projects and has taught academic seminars on research and data analysis for professional staff and faculty. He is also a grant writer, web author, and computer programmer.
